In addition, in thematic sessions the participants discussed global cooperation and mobility in higher education, digital education, green skills, and student support.
The Estonian delegation was led by Margus Haidak, Head of the Higher Education Policy and Lifelong Learning Department at the Ministry of Education and Research, who was joined by Tiit Land, Rector of Tallinn University of Technology; Andrus Pedai, Rector of the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences; Katariina Järve, Head of the Federation of Estonian Student Unions; and Janne Pukk, Senior Expert in the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education and Research.
The summit featured delegations from 47 member countries of the European Higher Education Area, representatives from the European Commission and the Council of Europe, and thematic organizations in the higher education sector (EUA, EURASHE, ESU, EQAR, etc.). Additionally, delegations from other continents participated in the parallel Bologna Policy Forum to promote global cooperation in the field of higher education.
