Minister Liina Kersna attends the informal meeting of EU competitiveness ministers

Minister Liina Kersna is today, 19th July in Slovenia for the informal meeting of the EU competitiveness ministers.

In the morning, ministers will discuss the development of the European Research Area and its strategic priorities for the next ten years. In the afternoon, ministers will discuss how to include third countries better into the EU research and innovation programmes.

Minister Liina Kersna meets also Simona Kustec, the Slovenia’s minister of education, research and sport to discuss current EU education and research policy affairs and share experiences on distance learning and preparations for the new academic year.
