Arnold de Boer is Adviser for Social Affairs at UEAPME, the employers’ organisation representing the interests of Crafts and SMEs in Europe, and a European Social Partner. His areas of responsibility include migration and mobility, social dialogue, education and training, social protection, and equal opportunities. Arnold is a member of various EC committees and structures, amongst which the Advosory Committee on Vocational Training (ACVT). Before joining UEAPME, he worked in the European Parliament and the Committee of the Regions, as well as in NGOs in Germany and the Netherlands. He studied Contemporary History of Central and Eastern Europe at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands and the Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
